Donald Brown - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Brown has over 18 years of accomplishments in the health care industry including running a $2.5 billion dollar prescription allergy franchise at Schering Plough. He brings to the company extensive management experience including business development and operations management, as well as sales and marketing, disease management, and managed care contracting.

John Mitchell - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Mitchell has more than 24 years of financial and operating experience with 15 of those years as a senior financial executive. He brings to the company extensive experience in financial reporting, treasury, operations, and mergers, acquisitions and integration. Prior to Arteriocyte, he served as CFO for the New England Patriots and as Vice President, Finance for both Egenera and SkillSoft. He started his career with Ernst & Young. He holds a B.A. in Accounting from Northeastern University and an MBA in Finance from Clark University.

Vincent Pompili, MD - Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Pompili serves a leading role in Arteriocyte’s clinical development and research programs. Dr. Pompili also holds a position as a Professor of Internal Medicine, Director of Cardiovascular Cell-Based Therapies and Section Director of Interventional Cardiology at Ohio State University. He is a recognized expert in the area of translational vascular biology and gene therapy. His research interests include stem cell therapy for cardiovascular diseases, ex vivo cell expansion and genetic manipulation.

Kolby Day, Esq. - Vice President and General Manager, Research and Development

Mr. Day is responsible for managing internal and external research collaborations and partnerships focused on translating scientific discovery to the marketplace. Mr. Day joined Arteriocyte in 2008 to build out Arteriocyte's in-house legal department. Prior to joining Arteriocyte, Mr. Day worked in genetic breast cancer research for Myriad Genetics in Salt Lake City, Utah. He holds a B.A. in Biology from Southern Utah University and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.

Brian Barnes, Ph.D. - Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs

Dr. Barnes achieved his Ph.D. at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden in Integrative Physiology with a focus in cellular biochemistry. Prior to joining Arteriocyte, Dr. Barnes served as an active duty Army Captain as biochemist/physiologist investigating human performance and tissue repair mechanisms. Dr. Barnes serves an active role in the management and direction of the Clinical, Quality and Regulatory Affairs of Arteriocyte. Specifically, he is responsible for the clinical execution of Arteriocyte's internally and externally funded clinical trials and serve as the clinical advisor to the Arteriocyte sales force and customers.
